What we collect from you

Nothing that identifies you unless you give it to us. To keep your exports yours we set a random cookie; we record anonymous page-view statistics (a salted hash, never your raw IP address); and if you buy a pass, Stripe processes the payment and shares your email and country with us. If you ask us to email you when an export is ready, we store that email for that export.

The Instagram data we process

When you paste a link, we fetch the public comments on that post through a third-party data provider: commenter usernames and IDs, comment text, timestamps, likes and reply relationships. We do not collect display names, profile details, follower lists, emails or anything from private accounts. We use this data only to produce the export, search and statistics you asked for, for that post.

How long we keep it

Exports are stored for 30 days so you can download them again, then deleted. To avoid fetching the same post repeatedly, a recent fetch of a post (a few hours old) may be reused for another request for that same post. We never sell or share comment data, never combine it into profiles of individual commenters, and never offer bulk datasets.

Your rights and deletion requests

If you commented on a public post and want your comments removed from our stored exports, or you want any data about you deleted, email admin@pickfetti.com with your username. We act on requests promptly. If you are in the EU/UK, our lawful basis is legitimate interest in providing the service the post's audience-owner requested; you may object at any time.

Processors

Hosting (DigitalOcean, USA), payments (Stripe), email (Resend) and an Instagram data provider (HikerAPI). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
